Hygrocybe parvula was described from New York by Peck in 1876. We are currently using the provisional name Hygrocybe "parvula-PNW01", however given the distribution of the sequenced collections, it is very likely that Hygrocybe "parvula-PNW01" is Hygrocybe parvula sensu stricto.
